These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through designcopenhagen.com.

2. Products

DesignCopenhagen offers art prints and related artwork through our online store.

We make every effort to display colours, details and proportions as accurately as possible. However, colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings and display technology.

Images showing artwork in interiors, frames or other settings are for illustrative purposes. Frames, furniture, props and other interior elements are not included unless explicitly stated in the product description.

Please check the selected size and product details carefully before placing your order.

3. Prices

All prices are displayed in the currency shown in the online store.

Applicable taxes are included where required. Any shipping costs will be displayed during checkout before the purchase is completed.

DesignCopenhagen reserves the right to correct obvious pricing errors.

4. Payment

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout.

Payment will be processed according to the payment method selected when placing your order.

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

5. Delivery

Orders are delivered to the address provided by the customer during checkout.

Available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and shipping costs are displayed during checkout where applicable.

We aim to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible. Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination, carrier and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Please ensure that your delivery information is correct before completing your order.

6. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers purchasing online generally have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the order.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us at mail@designcopenhagen.com within the 14-day withdrawal period.

After notifying us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, the item must be returned within the applicable return period.

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning an item when exercising the ordinary right of withdrawal, unless otherwise agreed.

7. Returns and Refunds

Returned artwork must be securely packaged and returned in good condition.

Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will process the applicable refund.

The refund will include the purchase price and the cost of our standard delivery method where required by applicable consumer law. Additional costs resulting from the customer choosing a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery option are not refundable.

A refund may be reduced if the returned item has lost value as a result of handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.

8. Custom and Personalised Artwork

The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to artwork made specifically according to a customer's individual specifications or artwork that has been clearly personalised for the customer.

Any such limitation will be made clear before the purchase is completed.

This does not affect statutory rights relating to defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied products.

9. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order when you receive it.

If your artwork arrives damaged, is defective or you receive an incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible at mail@designcopenhagen.com.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue and photographs showing the product and, where relevant, its packaging.

We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.

10. Complaints and Statutory Rights

Consumers purchasing goods from DesignCopenhagen have the statutory rights provided by applicable consumer legislation.

For purchases covered by Danish consumer law, consumers generally have a two-year statutory right to complain about defects or lack of conformity.

If you wish to make a complaint, please contact mail@designcopenhagen.com and include your order number and a description of the issue.

11. Intellectual Property

All artwork, illustrations, photographs, graphics, designs, logos and other creative material displayed on designcopenhagen.com are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.

Purchasing an original artwork or art print does not transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights to the purchaser.

Artwork purchased from DesignCopenhagen is for personal use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Artwork, illustrations and other creative material may not be reproduced, copied, distributed, commercially exploited or used to create derivative products without prior written permission from DesignCopenhagen.

12. Privacy

Personal information provided when placing an order is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information about how we collect, use and protect personal information.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Danish law, subject to mandatory consumer protection rights applicable to customers residing in other countries.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
