My name is Michael Mørck and I have been drawing doodles for as long as I can remember… One day, I spontaneously started coloring them in with a few colored pencils, and suddenly they actually looked quite interesting.

A friend encouraged me to do more with them, so I started drawing them up in Illustrator and playing with colors and shapes. That became the beginning of the drawings I create today.

I have a lot of unfinished drawings, so it has become my creative free space. Some motifs reveal themselves right away, others take time — and sometimes they turn into something completely different from what I first imagined.... or into nothing at all.

Other people may not see the same things in the pictures as I do, but perhaps you will see something entirely different. I find that fascinating, and I also like how the pictures change when you look at them more closely.

That is how I see them, and I hope that everyone can take something from the pictures in their own way.

Nothing is created with AI. I draw everything myself, either by hand or on my iPad, but it is all my own lines, shapes, and colors.
